When I travel, my bag is already loaded with a [MacBook Pro](https://amzn.to/4fuHHN9?ref=peterkos.org), [iPad Pro](https://amzn.to/4iQJlM4?ref=peterkos.org), and my go-to e-reader, [Kindle Paperwhite](https://amzn.to/4gQyvDJ?ref=peterkos.org). I always wondered why Amazon wouldn't add note-taking capabilities to their Kindles, and they finally did it with the [Kindle Scribe](https://amzn.to/3DscBbI?ref=peterkos.org). Now, I am still taking 3 devices out on the airport security checks, and two of these have pens with them. The Kindle is better for taking handwritten notes than the iPad because of its paper-like feel. Every. Single. Someone who understands AI is going to take your job. Just get good at it.** > *If you didn’t want to learn computers in the 80s or 90s, it meant eventually you weren’t *as skilled as the person next to you*.* I entered 2024 by publishing a separate newsletter, [Modern Ai Workplace](https://www.modernaiworkplace.com/?ref=peterkos.org), which I used to learn how to use AI to help me create more/better magic in my work. Everything over there is created using various AI tools (not only ChatGPT). A year later, I don't think it's my job to persuade anyone to use AI to be better at what they do. The market dynamics and *natural selection* will take care of that. If you're an information worker and don't use AI every day, **you will get left behind**. Just play with it and figure out how to add the sparkles to your work. But don't overuse it.
